Project: Landing pontoons for the Musannah Fishery Harbour

Scope: 3 pontoons 35.00 x 6.00 x 0.75 meter freeboard, weight 125,000 kgs

Three pontoons of 35.00 by 6.00 meters and a freeboard of 75 cm were produced locally in Musannah. Each pontoon weighs 125T. All pontoons were made locally using local labour and suppliers in close coordination with the client. After launch, the pontoons were towed to their final destination some 200 meters from the production site.

The pontoons will offer a landing place for local fishermen to unload the days catch and transport them to the market.
