Orsta was first involved in a feasibility study for this project. Years later, we also won the tender to actually install the breakwater.

The Netherlands being a small country, our approach was a little different this time. The pontoons were produced at our own yard, some 80 kilometers south of Amsterdam and, once all pontoons were completed, tugged to Amsterdam. The whole project was on a strict schedule because the Dutch annual in water boat show Hiswa te Water was to be held in Amsterdam Marina for the first time in September 2011
