METSTRADE Show is the world’s biggest and most visited B2B leisure marine equipment show, which has been bringing the marine industry together for decades. This global business platform and community focuses on innovation, market developments and on-site networking.

 

Orsta will be present at the Marina and Yard Pavilion (MYP), the most important global port for building and managing a marina and hosts marina owners, operators, developers and suppliers from around the world.

Orsta Breakwater  has landed closer to home

 

After eight years of projects abroad, the Orsta crew has landed closer to home, in the Dutch town of Sneek in the North of Holland. All breakwater pontoons have been produced on the parking area of Marina Waterrijck Sneek and launched directly into the marina where they will double as floating breakwater and seasonal berthing facility for yachts and houseboats.

 

Four and three ponton units have been coupled in an L-shape to protect the marina and vessels inside it from waves bij strong winds and passing ships.

 

The pontoons are currently being anchored into position and will be fitted with services by Seijsener.

Orsta Breakwater Awarded

ISO 9001 Certification

 

Orsta has passed another milestone to improve its quality management. On 27 November 2017, Bureau Veritas succesfully concluded an audit to award the ISO 9001:2015 Certificate to Orsta Breakwater.

 

Orsta has passed the audit without any non-conformities concluding a process that had been initiated by the management years ago.

 

Orsta Breakwater will not rest on its laurels, but continuously improve quality management and aim for the highest level of compliance.
